AGBS is an academic resource of The University of Texas at Austin and a repository of materials relating to Africa and the African Diaspora. It stewards the AADS Department’s permanent collection of approximately 1,300 art objects and artifacts.

The Black Diaspora Archive (BDA) is a collaborative project at The University of Texas at Austin. Housed at LLILAS Benson Latin American Studies and Collections, the BDA collects archival, audiovisual, digital, and artistic works related to the Black Diaspora of the Americas and Caribbean.

IRP Data Lab
The AADS Institute for Research and Policy offers a Data Lab on the 4th floor of GWB for students to use data-analysis tools, coding programs, GIS software, and more for free! A workshop series provides training on software and poster design to support students across campus in developing and showcasing research. Studio AADS
AADS' Communications team offers equipment for check-out to faciliate media production. Their equipment includes vlog equipment, a mirrorless camera setup for still photography and video, plus tripods, lighting, microphones to create storytelling assets around research projects and scholarship.
